Report Needed.

In one of my classes, Living In A Virtual World. We have to present on a topic that we are interested. We then have to report it out to the class. One of the topics I am interested in is technology in cars. I am pretty interested in learning about cars, and not only that; technology in cars is growing each and each year.   It is not what it used to be, where cars used to just have a radio and air conditioning. Now it has a lot of jazzy features like connecting your phone to the car, so that you are able to make a call without even touching the screen on your phone. It does not end there, it can also calculate how many miles per gallon you are getting as you are driving, letting you know if you are driving conservatively like a sweet grandma, or driving aggressively like a professional nascar driver. Speaking of driving aggressively, you can change the settings in your car set your driving preference; a regular drive mode or a sport mode. There's also a special fe

Journalism being written off?

Journalism. The topic of us humans receiving current news and events. Everyone is involved in journalism somehow. Whether it be watching the news, reading the newspaper, or going on the web to read some news. Not into news? Journalism is also involved in the sports world, where they would talk about either the best team in world, or the most iconic player in the nation. The whole world would pretty much be a wreck without journalism, cause again, how would we get our news? How would we keep up with current events? Without that, we would not know anything about the place we live in. With everything being said so far, journalism is not what it used to be. Back then everyone would need to purchase newspapers in order to keep up with the ongoing events. But everything has to keep up with the times, that means that newspaper industry has been slowing down. People have been layoff, and for those companies to make a profit, it has been a real struggle. Companies like The New York Times has

Web Development

So it all started on October 10th, 2018. I went to my first class, living in a virtual world. I was taking notes and then the professor said something about making a webpage as homework. I was pretty overwhelmed. I got home and I was freaking clueless. Then I looked at the instructions the professor gave us, I was even more clueless than a freaking dog that can't find its owner. I did not know where to start. I was just sitting on my couch with the laptop in my head just spacing off. I almost gave up. Fast forward 10 to 15 minutes later, I texted a friend of mine who is very into computers and the web. I was so relieved. He saved me. He saved my grade. I am so thankful for that. I sent him the instructions and he guided me through because I could not do anything. Reading the instructions was basically a second unknown language to me. We both called each other and then that's when the process of making this whole webpage started to roll. I really thought I

Messages about Mail

Everyone at some point in their lives, will need to end up sending a letter, a card, or any type of document to someone of importance. But the way they will execute that will be different. Depending on the preference, us human beings will use a Postal Service to send a Physical Copy, or an electronic copy over the internet; called email. Someone might ask, what’s the differences and what are the similarities? There are actually more similarities than expected. One of the most important similarity is the process of the mail being sent. Either one, email or mail will be sent to a regional service, after it is being processed, it is sent to the local service, then finally, it will be sent to the personal address. Other similarities includes the mailbox, for email, it is considered your inbox in the email. Both of them have a post office, which is the Postal Services Building for regular mail, and that is equivalent to the URL Address for email. They both use addresses to send it to the

When I chose my courses for my first quarter, I chose to be in this class called 'Living In a Virtual' because I needed an elective credit. But I did not just choose this just because it was an elective. I chose this because I wanted to learn about the virtual world. The course name attracted me, all the other courses seemed interesting, but not attractive enough for me to sign up for them. As a kid, I always had thoughts about how does technology work with other sets technology. I am not the biggest expert of social media or video games, but I am also the person with the most knowledge about social media and technology in my family. So I pretty much use it well enough where I want to learn about the internet, the history computers, the communications with other technology, and how technology has changed over the years. So I hope I get to have a better understanding about the 'virtual world'. I hope I get to have the knowledge necessary to teach and tell others about
